He was born on 27 July 1981 in Guntersville, Huntsville, Alabama. Since his childhood, he was a great fan of professional wrestling. Therefore, he always wanted to get close to his favourite wrestling stars.

But, Thompson started his practical life as a mortgage broker in Huntsville.  During this business, he had a little practice of doing live radio to promote his mortgage business. This experience proved to be very fruitful for him later in life. Now he owns the 1^st family mortgage in Alabama.

Since childhood, he had a craze for wrestling. His dream was to watch his favorite wrestlers live one day. At first, he had an interview with Shane Douglas but he had to pay a hefty amount to the wrestler.

This interview got a good response and he agreed to a deal with wrestling manager Jim Cornette for $1,500 in exchange for his interviews

Suddenly, his fortunes turned as he got across famous wrestler and wrestling manager Ric Flair.
