Fredo Bang and Lit Yoshi both were part of the hip-hop group ‘Top Boy Gorilla’. When they had scheduled their live performance at the Miami Gardens during the Rolling Loud hip-hop festival, they were arrested one day before.
Fredo Bang’s arrest and imprisonment in January 2016, was in connection with a shooting incident that happened in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on November 18, 2015.
He faced the charge of attempted second degree murder. Along with him, the two other members involved in the incident were Louis Badazz and his father.
Miami Herald wrote after the incident that Miami-Dade Police homicide detectives were actually searching for two rappers in connection to a shooting incident which happened outside the Trump International Beach Resort, located in Sunny Isles Beach.
