Seimone Augustus, born April 30, 1984, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, is a professional player for the Minnesota Lynx.

She ended up enrolling at LSU, where she was soon given the honor of being All-American three times during her collegiate career and won the WNBA Rookie Of The Year Award in 2004, just five years after graduation.

From there, she played for Team USA in Athens 2004 and Beijing 2008, winning two more Olympic Gold Medals back to back.

Her best season was also one of the worst for the Lynx team as they finished with 10 wins and 24 losses against the 2007 powerhouse LA Sparks team, which won them their first championship that year.
