The Career of Peter Levy
Starting from Levy’s radio career, he was a disc jockey at Bradford’s Pennine Radio from its launch in 1975. He was hired by Austin Mitchell, who was then a television journalist and then became a Member of Parliament.
In the 1970s, he became a presenter at Liverpool’s Radio City, starting on the afternoon show before progressing to the drive time slot.
He started his career in radio by working for local radio stations in the south of England before eventually landing a job as a co-presenter for BBC Look North.
