Tanner Petulla was born on the 13the of April 1993 in San Jose, California, US. DJ Getter is his professional name as he is a disc jockey.

The beginning of Tanner’s career began in 2012 when he started developing music at his friend’s apartment before buying his own one.
In 2012, he signed to Firepower Records, which was run by Datsik who was a music artist too. Later the same year, he signed up with OWSLA ( a record label that was founded by Skrillex).
Another thing that he gained a lot of fame by was when he started making “SUH Dude” vines in collaboration with Dillon Francis and Nick Colletti.
